    • People at the group homes have different abilities. For that reason certain group homes have different activities. Lanewood and Crest participate in sensory activities such as going to the greenhouses during the summer, neighborhood walks, and crafts. Aquila and Louisiana cook their own meals and participate in grocery shopping on a weekly basis. Everyone has their own interests as well. For example, some people want to relax and do puzzles or knit while others would rather be out cheering on their favorite teams at every Viking and Twins game they can get tickets.
    • We don't want to do things for the people if they can do it themselves because that deprives them of being able to live their own life. Staff are there for support and help with things the people cannot do for themselves.
